I love Christmas because of the memories it holds and the promise it brings. Today, my son Brady and I provided a Christmas program of musical selections for my mom and her friends at Eventide, a care facility in our community. There isn’t much I can give at Christmas to my mother as her needs are few and her circle is getting smaller with the passage of time. But today, we sang and she enjoyed every minute of it! What a gift it was for me at 61 to be singing Christmas songs for my mother at 88.  What a gift it was for me to sing the duet, O Holy Night, with my son Brady. Today’s event will be a memory I will cherish in my heart.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all!

    –Lion Robert
