Returning home from the 2013 USA/Canada Forum in Overland Park, KS, I am ready to begin moving forward more purposefully toward the goal of becoming an International Director for Lions Clubs International. The first step has been taken as I was endorsed by the Fargo Lions Club in mid-August. Next is the district endorsement to be sought in Dickinson, ND, at our district meeting and state Lions convention on October 25-26. Then, securing the endorsement of Multiple District 5 Lions at our convention in Watertown, SD, set for May 30-31, 2014, must be achieved. Kathy and I believe that this is the right time and place for us to contribute on a global level and we look forward to sharing our dreams for Lionism now and in the future. Our goal is to serve and we will do our best to represent all of Lionism.
